Printing guide
Everything you need to print your Mirai Series piece in gallery quality: sizes, paper, settings, and solutions to common issues. This guide is also included as a PDF, in Spanish and English, with every purchase.
What your download includes

Your piece is optimized for printing in A1 (594 × 841 mm), the primary size of the edition. As a high-resolution file, it can also be printed in smaller A-series sizes while maintaining the aspect ratio:
Sizes
- A1 — 594 × 841 mm (primary size)
- A2 — 420 × 594 mm
- A3 — 297 × 420 mm
- A4 — 210 × 297 mm
If you want to print in a larger size or a different format, please consult your print shop beforehand to verify the resolution.
Recommended paper
The paper completely changes the result. For a gallery aesthetic:
- Matte paper 200–250 g/m² — glare-free, museum-quality finish.
- Satin paper 200–250 g/m² — slight sheen and deeper blacks.
- Photographic paper — maximum contrast for very dark pieces.
Avoid papers under 150 g/m²: they warp and lose their presence.
Home printing
- 1. Open the file in a viewer (Adobe Acrobat or Preview).
- 2. In the print dialog, select 100% scale or "Actual Size".
- 3. Quality: High or Best.
- 4. Select the paper type loaded in your printer.
- 5. Print a test copy before the final version.
Home printers typically handle up to A4 or A3. For A1, use a print shop or an online printing service.
Professional printing
For A1 or gallery-quality finishes, a print shop or online service is ideal. Provide them with the original file and specify:
- Size: A1 (or your chosen size)
- Paper: matte or satin, 200 g/m² or higher
- Scale: 100%, do not fit to page.
- Margins: respect the file's margins, do not crop the artwork.
Colour
What you see on screen and what comes out on paper are never 100% identical. This is normal and part of the printed artwork:
- The screen emits light; the paper reflects it.
- Each screen calibrates colors differently.
- Paper changes perception: matte softens, satin intensifies.
Common issues
- > Blurry print → the file was enlarged or printed at low quality. Use the original file and 100% scale.
- > Cropped image → disable "Fit to page" and use 100% scale.
- > Faded or shifted colors → try a different paper or adjust the color profile; always do a test print first.
- > File won't open → re-download it from My Account and open it in Adobe Acrobat.
- > Download link not working → re-download it from My Account.
